01:24 pm - sonnet to a penguin It seems quite odd that mortals should alarm, in a world that still has yet to end, at being Added, which deal not equal harm as ancient beings upon whom darkness tends. So beganeth I this journal, hoping to befriend (tentacles waiting, under wave and reef) those whose sp3lling scarcely could defend their groundless frenzy due to this belief. Then came the victims, to my great delight, and wise were those who followed my lead, but the others, whining, tired me in their fright, so, alas, at last I did recede. 'Tis an understandable decision and a nice compromise, but nevertheless I am uneasy. The assumption among much of the populace is that adding is a crime. Being added can turn perfectly nice bloggers into beasts, and the not-so-nice turn into monstrous entities of a fearsome size. Ah, well; I suppose that this is what makes serial adding so much fun.
